Production processes

Settings → Workflow → Production Processes lists the steps a product goes through while it’s being made. They’re managed as a simple code/description list, the same way as production lines.

Figure 1 — the process list (same layout as Production Lines). (1) Add to create a process. (2) Each has a code, description and sequence, with edit ✎ and delete 🗑.

1. Add a process (or ✎ to edit).
2. Enter a Code and Description.
3. Set a Sequence for its order.
4. Save.

Good to know

• Processes describe the “how” — the discrete steps within a line’s work.
• Deactivate rather than delete any process that’s been used on a job.
