Tax rates

Settings → Accounting → Tax Rates defines the tax codes you charge. They appear wherever tax is applied and map across to your accounting integration.

Figure 1 — the Tax Rates list. (1) Add creates a rate. (2) Each row shows its percentage and active status, with edit ✎ and delete 🗑.

1. Click Add (or ✎ to edit).
2. Enter a Code (e.g. GST) and Description.
3. Set the Tax Percentage and a Sequence number for dropdown order.
4. Save.

Good to know

• Match your accounting codes — align tax codes with Xero/MYOB so they map without manual matching.
• Deactivate, don’t delete a rate that’s been used, to keep historical documents intact.
