The Jobs module is where an order becomes work: what’s in production, what stage it’s at, who’s installing it and when. It’s four views over the same jobs — pick the one that matches the question you’re asking.

The two date types

Almost every confusion in this module comes from dates. A job has two:

• Production date — when it’s being made.
• Dispatch date — when it’s going out or being installed.

The filter bar’s Date by setting decides which one your date window applies to:

• Production — the window filters on production dates.
• Dispatch — the window filters on dispatch dates.
• Either — show the job if either date falls in the window.

Job missing from a view?

Nine times out of ten the date window is filtering on the wrong date type. Switch Date by to Either and it usually reappears.

The shared filter bar

Board, Grid and Capacity share one filter bar, and it remembers your settings as you move between them — so the window you set on the Board is still in place when you check Capacity.

• Date by — Production, Dispatch or Either (above).
• Period — Day / Week / Month, with back/forward arrows and Today.
• From / To — a custom window instead of the period buttons.
• Job Track, Job Process, Job Status — the production side.
• Dispatch status, Dispatch type — the dispatch side.
• Run — the installer or delivery run.
• Clear — resets everything.

All of these are multi-select: tick several statuses to see them together.

The Calendar is deliberately separate — it has its own date navigation and only shows installs, so it doesn’t share the bar.

Where the lists come from

The lanes, statuses and types you see are the ones you set up in Settings. If something’s missing or named oddly, that’s where to fix it:

• Job Tracking Lines
• Production processes
• Production statuses
• Installation types — your dispatch types
• Installation statuses — your dispatch statuses

Installers and their working days come from Installers.
